Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available | $32.00–$36.00 per hour, based on experience

Greenwood Center in Warwick, RI is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join its nursing team.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse who takes pride in delivering compassionate, resident-centered care while working alongside a supportive healthcare team.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, individualized care plans, facility policies, and applicable regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Perform nursing duties, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and other treatments within the scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support residents' health and well-being.
• Participate in care plan updates and resident care conferences as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team.
• Promote residents' dignity, comfort, privacy, and independence.
• Follow infection control procedures, safety standards, and facility policies.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
• Current, active Rhode Island LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and respond appropriately to residents' needs.
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality resident care.
