Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to inform care planning.
• Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and treatments such as tube feedings and catheterizations with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor patients’ conditions closely, recognizing signs of acute pain, infection, or deterioration; respond promptly with appropriate interventions.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection/processing and support medical procedures including wound suturing or spinal taps when necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, case managers, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Provide specialized care for vulnerable populations including those with dementia or developmental disabilities; deliver memory care and Alzheimer’s support with patience and professionalism.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR.
• Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, hospice, or outpatient clinics.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and infection control practices.
• Ability to work effectively with geriatric patients and individuals with disabilities; experience in dementia or memory care enhances your fit for this role.
• Excellent communication skills for caregiver interaction and client education; ability to adapt quickly in urgent or emergency situations such as triage or urgent care scenarios.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
