Licensed Practical Nurse - Medical-Surgical

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on a surgical unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to post-operative and medical-surgical patients.
• Perform focused assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and support wound care.
• Assist with early mobility and recovery efforts.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and discharge instructions.
• Document care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current LPN licensure.
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
