💚 What You’ll Do

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and established protocols.
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patients for changes in health status.
• Respond to medical concerns and communicate changes in patient conditions to the appropriate healthcare personnel.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare colleagues and correctional staff to promote patient safety and continuity of care.
• Deliver professional, respectful care while protecting patient confidentiality and dignity.

✅ Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted nursing license appropriate to the position in Georgia, or a compact license valid for practice in Georgia, as applicable.
• Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain it as required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Commitment to professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and quality patient care.
• Availability to work 12-hour night shifts from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM on a rotating schedule, including every other weekend.

Correctional healthcare experience is welcome, but a commitment to compassionate care and professional excellence is what matters most!
