Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Administer medications, injections, and other treatments following established protocols and safety standards.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, processing, and basic medical imaging procedures.
• Manage complex care needs including wound care, medication management, and pain control strategies.
• Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and long-term care standards while ensuring clinical confidentiality policies are upheld.
• Provide patient education on health management, medication use, and lifestyle modifications.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or equivalent in the relevant state or region.
• Proven experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with disabilities.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner, Epic (Epic), Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient data management.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and nursing best practices including infection control and sterile techniques.
• Competency in emergency procedures like CPR/BLS, first aid, airway management, and basic life support techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating compassion and professionalism.

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
