Licensed Practical Nurse – Stepdown Intermediate

Role Overview: Provides nursing care in a general surgery and trauma acute care setting, focusing on patient assessments, medication administration, diagnostic support, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities: Lead comprehensive patient evaluations, ensure safe medication practices, perform laboratory and therapeutic procedures, and advocate for patient understanding and recovery.

Qualifications: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credential from the Kansas Board of Nursing, BLS certification within one month, high school diploma or equivalent, and IV certification is preferred.
