About the Role:

North Point Senior Homecare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a PRN basis in Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to senior clients in a home care setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician
• Administer medications, wound care, and treatments as directed by the care plan
• Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding care updates
• Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) and support patient independence and dignity
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards
• Follow all HIPAA, infection control, and homecare safety protocols

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Virginia
• Previous experience in home care, geriatrics, or a related healthcare setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient homes in the Virginia Beach area
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home environment
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
