Licensed Primary Therapist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Primary Therapist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. This therapist will play a key role in providing individual and group therapy to clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. You will work directly with clients to develop treatment plans, facilitate therapy sessions, and provide support throughout their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients in a safe, supportive environment
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate with the medical team, case managers, and other professionals to ensure integrated care for clients
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Facilitate family therapy sessions, if applicable
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Provide crisis intervention and support when needed
• Educate clients on coping strategies, relapse prevention, and mental health management
• Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Licensed therapist (LCSW, LPC, LSW, LAC, LMFT, LCADC, or equivalent) with active state licensure. If your license is pending, we strongly encourage you to apply!
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues
• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, MI, etc.)
• Strong understanding of addiction treatment, mental health disorders, and dual-diagnosis care
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to client care

What Your Day Will Look Like

In this role, you will provide clinical support and therapeutic services while working closely with a multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Group Facilitation (although minimal)
• Individual Counseling
• Family Counseling
• Crisis Intervention
• Documentation and Scheduling
• Treatment Planning
• Other Duties as Determined by the Clinical Director

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
