Licensed Psychometrician

About the role

This role involves preparing and administering psychological testing to patients, ensuring the accuracy and validity of assessments, and evaluating patient responses. You will guide patients through testing procedures, observe and record behavior during assessments, conduct interviews for further evaluation, and transcribe results onto Psychological Report Sheets. You will consult with the Medical Director on diagnostic issues and refer patients to supervising psychologists or psychiatrists as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Prepares and administers appropriate psychological testing to patients such as BPI, PNLT etc.
• Ensures the accuracy and validity of the psychological tests
• Guide patients on the procedure and provide instructions to ensure patient's care and safety
• Observes and records the behavior of the patient during the psychological testing
• Evaluates the response of the patient during the psychological testing
• Conducts interview for further evaluation of the patient's responses
• Transcribe results of evaluation on the Psychological Report Sheet and forwards it to the Records Section
• Consults Medical Director for advice regarding diagnostic issues
• Prepares and submits Monthly Census to the Head of Medical Testing Department
• Maintains files of the test batteries and other important files

About you

• Must be a graduate of BS Psychology or AB Psychology
• Must be a Licensed Psychometrician
• Must be knowledgeable with psychological tests such as BPI and PNLT
• Computer Literate; knowledgeable on Computer Software Program, Office Management and Records Management
• Self-motivated; needs minimal supervision
• Positive Attitude towards co-workers, superiors, and clients
• Very good interpersonal relations ability
• Good oral and written communication skills
