Licensed QC Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered/Licensed Mechanical Engineer (RME).
• Must be a college graduate and computer literate.
• At least 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design and Construction.
• With solid experience in QA/QC, mechanical installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning.
• Knowledgeable in mechanical construction standards, installation procedures, and quality requirements.
• Familiar with the latest CAD/CADD programs and able to interpret mechanical plans, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Good command of English and Tagalog, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good supervisory, coordination, and site management skills.
• Willing to work occasional overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for mechanical works.
• Supervise and monitor mechanical installation activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, standards, and project requirements.
• Conduct inspections and monitor testing and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, materials, and installation methods to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and quality issues and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, consultants, and other trades to resolve technical and quality concerns.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, checklists, testing records, punch lists, and other required quality documents.
• Monitor site activities and ensure proper implementation of approved mechanical installation procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to mechanical personnel and site teams.
• Ensure all mechanical works meet required quality, safety, and project schedule standards.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and making sound decisions to maintain project quality and progress.
• Support project close-out activities, including final inspections, testing documentation, and rectification of outstanding works.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
