Our expertise includes intrusion detection, burglar alarms, fire alarms, video surveillance, access control, audio/video, and structured cabling.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Security Service Technician with experience in intrusion alarms, fire alarms and video surveillance. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to install, service, and maintain security systems for commercial and industrial clients. The candidate should possess at least one of the three following licenses: RI TST - RI Telecommunications System Technicians, RI BF - Burglar and Fire Alarm license or Mass D - Systems Technician License

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot intrusion alarm and video surveillance systems.
• Diagnose and repair security system components.
• Perform system testing, programming, and configuration to ensure proper operation.
• Work with clients to provide technical support and training on installed systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and best practices.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Requirements

• RI TST - RI Telecommunications System Technicians and/or
• RI BF - Burglar and Fire Alarm license and/or
• Mass D - Systems Technician License
• Strong working knowledge of intrusion alarm systems, fire and video surveillance equipment.
• Troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• On-call availability as required

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
