What they need

Join Our Compassionate and Growing Team at Morning View Family Therapy

At Morning View Family Therapy (MVFT), we are more than a private practice—we are a growing clinical team committed to empowering individuals, couples, and families throughout their mental health journeys.

We serve clients across the lifespan and provide treatment for a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, family concerns, and more.

As MVFT continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is looking for an opportunity to grow alongside our practice.

Our ideal clinician values quality client care, consistency, collaboration, professional development, and being an active member of a team.

What We Offer!

  • Competitive compensation of $60.00–$65.00 per clinical hour
  • Performance-based growth opportunities and incentives
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision for eligible employees
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays for eligible employees
  • Professional development and continuing education opportunities
  • Collaborative clinical environment with access to consultation, leadership, and support
  • Opportunities for continued professional growth within MVFT
  • Established administrative support, referrals, and practice infrastructure

Clinical Caseload & Scheduling Expectations

This position requires a commitment to maintaining an active clinical caseload of approximately 30-35 clients and a minimum of 25 completed sessions per week. This is subject to change as business needs change.

Clinicians are expected to establish and maintain availability that supports the needs of their clients and the continued growth of their caseload. Scheduling should reflect client demand, continuity of care, and the needs of the populations being served.

As caseloads develop and client needs change, clinicians should be willing to make appropriate adjustments to their availability to support consistent scheduling, client retention, continuity of care, and professional growth within the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality individual, couples, and family therapy in person
  • Maintain approximately 25–30 completed clinical sessions per week
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical presentation and medical necessity
  • Maintain continuity of care and consistent client scheduling
  • Provide appropriate crisis assessment, intervention, and escalation when clinically necessary
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable professional, legal, ethical, payer, and MVFT requirements
  • Maintain appropriate professional and ethical boundaries
  • Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions when clinically appropriate
  • Participate in clinical consultation, professional development, and team collaboration
  • Communicate proactively with leadership and administrative staff regarding scheduling, client care, caseload concerns, and operational needs
  • Contribute positively to MVFT's collaborative clinical culture and continued growth

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted California LMFT or LCSW license
  • Master's degree from an accredited university
  • Experience utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage clients with professionalism, empathy, and appropriate clinical boundaries
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and/or families highly preferred
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and PTSD treatment preferred
  • Commitment to ethical practice, professional development, and collaboration
  • Experience working with diverse populations is highly valued
  • Ability and willingness to maintain a consistent 30-35 caseload with at least 25 completed sessions per week.

Grow With MVFT!

We are looking for clinicians who want more than a place to see clients. We want professionals who are interested in building their clinical skills, developing their areas of expertise, growing their caseload, and becoming part of the continued growth of Morning View Family Therapy.

If you are passionate about providing meaningful mental health care, value accountability and collaboration, and are looking for an opportunity to grow within an established and expanding practice, we would love to hear from you.
