About Us
Agave Postpartum Wellness supports parents through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum season. We specialize in perinatal mental health and help clients through postpartum depression, anxiety, birth trauma, pregnancy loss, and the identity shifts that come with becoming a parent.

A Ground-Floor Opportunity
We’re launching our therapy services, and you’d be our first therapist. That means you’ll help shape the program from the start, and we’ll focus our referral and marketing efforts on building your caseload. You bring the clinical expertise; we handle everything else. As we grow, you’ll have the chance to help shape future hiring, specialties, and group offerings.

A True Specialty Practice
Every client you see is in the perinatal season. No generalist caseload, just focused, meaningful work with parents during one of the most vulnerable and transformative times of their lives.

The Role
This is an independent contractor (1099) position at an insurance-based practice. You set your own schedule and caseload, with no caseload minimums.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual therapy to clients during pregnancy and the first years postpartum
• Complete intake assessments, diagnoses (ICD-10), and treatment plans
• Support clients with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), birth trauma, infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, NICU experiences, and adjustment to parenthood
• Recognize and respond to perinatal crises, including postpartum psychosis and suicidal ideation
• Keep timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in our EHR
• Coordinate with OBs, midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, and psychiatric providers as needed

Qualifications

• Active, independent Arizona license: LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
• Experience or strong interest in perinatal and maternal mental health
• PMH-C certification or Postpartum Support International training preferred
• Familiarity with evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, or trauma-focused care
• Comfortable providing telehealth

Compensation
60/40 split of collected fees (60% to you), paid biweekly.
