Licensed Therapist

Ideal candidates will be familiar with evidence-based mental health therapies for children ,adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. The candidate is able to quickly build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with other clinicians.

Candidate is experienced and comfortable with in-office and teletherapy ( where and when needed for teletherapy) and documenting notes in electronic medical records. To be part of our organization, every employee should understand and share in the Full Hearts Counseling philosophy.

• Provide consultation and create a therapeutic alliance balanced with the best therapeutic interventions for patients.
• Provide consultation/ crisis intervention services for patients.
• Provide culturally relevant counseling and treatment.
• Collaborate with care management team and identify and support transition services
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and other activities with DFWPMA & FCVC team and maintain weekly scheduled therapy appointments.
• Complete required documentation and paperwork including clinical assessments, treatment planning, and updating of medical records within of 24 hours of patient visits.
• Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment to patients.
• Demonstrate commitment to the philosophy of the agency..
• Provide individual/family sessions appropriate to patient needs.
• Display professionalism in dealing with patients, staff, and clinicians.
• Has experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of mental health conditions.
• Opportunities for program development.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Minimum education: a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed in state of Texas (License must be active and in good standing)
• Ability to work well and communicate with others while maintaining a positive attitude
• Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice, psychotherapy methods, and/or openness to alternative therapy techniques.

Preferred:

• Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, individual and/ or group psychotherapy
• Play Therapy skills is a preferred but not required

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per hour
