Licensed Underwriter - Non Life

About the role

Evaluate and assess risks for new business, renewals, and policy endorsements. Review applications, claims history, financial information, and other underwriting documents. Determine appropriate coverage, limits, premiums, terms, and conditions. Ensure underwriting decisions comply with company policies and Insurance Commission regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess risks for new business, renewals, and policy endorsements

• Coordinate with agents, brokers, clients, claims, and other departments
• Monitor account performance, risk exposure, and portfolio results
• Prepare underwriting reports and maintain accurate records

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or related field
• Licensed/Certified Insurance Underwriter or relevant professional qualification
• 3–5 years of non-life insurance underwriting experience
• Knowledge of non-life insurance products, risk assessment, and regulations
• Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
