Mobius Veterinary Services is Westchester’s first and only veterinary hospital dedicated exclusively to small animal internal medicine. We are a privately owned specialty practice focused on providing advanced diagnostics, thoughtful medicine, and exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.

Our team includes board-certified veterinary internists and experienced veterinary technicians who work closely together to manage challenging medical cases.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team.

This is an opportunity for a technician who enjoys internal medicine, advanced diagnostics, and working closely with specialists. The ideal candidate is confident in their technical skills, takes pride in providing excellent patient care, and enjoys being part of a small team where everyone contributes.

At Mobius, our technicians are an integral part of patient care. You will work directly alongside board-certified internists and have the opportunity to develop and utilize advanced technical skills rather than being limited to routine GP duties.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting board-certified internists with examinations and complex medical cases
• Obtaining thorough patient histories and performing detailed patient assessments
• IV catheter placement and venipuncture
• Blood collection and laboratory sample preparation
• Administration of medications and treatments
• Anesthesia and sedation monitoring
• Assisting with ultrasound examinations and ultrasound-guided procedures
• Assisting with endoscopy and other minimally invasive procedures
• Patient monitoring and recovery
• Radiographic and advanced diagnostic imaging assistance
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Client communication and education
• Preparing patients and equipment for procedures
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
• Working closely with the veterinarians and other members of the Mobius team

What We Are Looking For

• Current New York State LVT license
• Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent patient handling and restraint skills
• Comfortable with venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Comfortable with anesthesia and sedation monitoring
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team
• Compassionate approach to patients and their owners
• Interest in internal medicine and advanced diagnostics
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Experience in specialty, emergency, internal medicine, or anesthesia is a plus.
