Licensed Veterinary Technician

F/T or P/T Licensed Veterinary Technician needed for a busy, small animal and exotic, 6 doctor, AAHA accredited practice. Our belief is to provide our patient’s with lifelong excellent quality care, and support. We treat every pet as if they are our own.

Ideal candidates interested in joining our team should be energetic, outgoing, proficient in their technical skills, are friendly, professional, empathetic, responsible, and are computer savvy. Duties of the Technician include but are not limited to:

• Performing laboratory work
• Assisting in surgery
• Performing dentals and taking dental radiographs
• Monitoring Anesthesia
• Placing IV catheters
• Proficient at drawing blood samples
• Taking digital radiographs
• Filling prescription medications
• Responsible for client care and education

• Full time position is available for 4 weekdays each week from 8am until 6pm, and every other Saturday 8am until noon. Full time staff receive a 1 hour lunch break daily. P/T position can also be accommodated, but benefits will vary.

New York State License in Veterinary Technology is required.

**Salary will be higher per hour based on hands-on skill set, years of experience, and knowledge. **
