Licensed Veterinary Technician/Veterinary Technician

Currently, we are looking for motivated Veterinary Technicians to join our team. We are a fast-paced small animal general practice with a terrific staff and phenomenal clientele. Our staff is passionate about the quality of care they provide not only to our patients but to our clients. We pride ourselves in treating each other and our clients like family, it's part of our core values here at SFAH.

There are 6 exam rooms (2 cat, 3 dog), including a comfort room, a large sunlit surgery suite along with a spacious treatment and ICU area here at SFAH. The spacious laboratory and fully stocked pharmacy area provides greater efficiency to better meet the needs of our patients and clients. We are looking for candidates who are looking to help us grow and grow with us.

Have a special skill or willing to expand your knowledge in any of these areas? Are you interested in growing your knowledge of ultrasound? Do you have a special interest in cytology? Are you an internal medicine guru who loves discussing cases with your doctor and teammates? Then we just may be the practice for you. We are willing to provide training to the right candidate for any of these skills. By learning new skills you make your job more exciting and enjoyable.

Responsibilities (Include, but are not limited to):

• Assisting doctors with appointments and surgery
• Animal restraint and handling
• Phlebotomy and processing lab samples
• Cleaning up after pets (urine, feces etc.)
• Working closely with others in a team environment
• Client education

Job Type: Full-time - Including evenings and an occasional Saturday.
