Lifeguard
The Tampa Yacht and Country Club is looking for Lifeguards. The position requires weekend availability throughout the week and full weekend availability. Holidays and special events may be required throughout the year.

Position Summary

Implement all water safety policies and procedures. Supervise members and guest in and around the swimming pool.

• Supervises and observes swimmers at all times to ensure their safety
• Administers care to swimmers with minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises
• Maintains amenities as needed
• Enforces rules of conduct at the pool
• Checks first aid supplies and reports items needed
• Organizes and monitors pool games at all times
• Sets out appropriate rescue equipment in the morning and returns equipment when pool closes (end of shift)
• Maintains all necessary records determined by the club
• Attends bi weekly meeting with Food and Beverage Service Manager
• Implements all pool and safety equipment
• Preforms required pool preopening duties
• Informs Food and Beverage Service Manager about member or guest disruptions
• Performs cleaning/shocking of the pool as needed
• Performs any other appropriate tasks as assigned by leadership

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Required)
• Lifeguard Training (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Required)
• Night Shift (Required)
