Duties

• Vigilantly monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety at all times
• Enforce facility rules and regulations to promote responsible behavior among swimmers and visitors
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed
• Conduct routine inspections of the pool area, including safety equipment checks and water quality assessments
• Maintain clear communication with team members and emergency services during incidents or drills
• Educate guests on pool safety guidelines and encourage respectful conduct in the water
• Complete incident reports, shift logs, and safety documentation accurately and promptly

Skills

• Valid RLSS NPLQ lifeguard certification
• Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescue techniques confidently under pressure
• Excellent observational skills to identify potential hazards or distressed swimmers quickly
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in high-pressure situations
• Good communication skills for interacting effectively with guests and team members
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, swim, and perform rescues for extended periods
• Knowledge of water safety practices, emergency response procedures, and basic first aid

Pay: £8.00-£36,875.21 per hour
