Lifeguard

• Ensure the safety and well-being of members and guests using the kiddie pool, lagoon pool, and lap pool
• Conduct continuous and active surveillance of all pool areas
• Enforce pool rules, safety regulations, and club policies at all times
• Prevents accidents and responds immediately and appropriately to emergency situations
• Provide first aid and basic life support when necessary
• Monitors swimmer behavior, with special attention to children and inexperienced swimmers
• Maintains cleanliness, order, and proper use of pool facilities and equipment
• Assists in opening and closing pool operations as required.
• Report incidents, accidents, and unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Following club policies, schedules, and standard operating procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain constant and active surveillance of all pool areas, including the kiddie pool, lagoon pool, and lap pool
• Ensure the safety of members and guests by preventing accidents and responding promptly to emergencies
• Enforce pool rules, safety regulations, and club policies consistently and professionally
• Provide immediate rescue and basic life support when required.
• Closely monitor children, non-swimmers, and inexperienced swimmers, especially in the kiddie pool and lagoon areas
• Conduct routine safety checks of pool facilities, equipment, and rescues tools prior to and during operations
• Ensure proper pool capacity limits are observed at all times
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness, order, and proper use of pool areas, decks, and equipment
• Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Document and report all incidents, accidents, and rescues accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist in opening and closing procedures of the pool facilities as scheduled
• Provide courteous assistance and clear safety instructions to members and guests
• Ensure the cleanliness of the assigned area
• Coordinate with pool staff, coaches, and administration to ensure smooth and safe pool operations
• Attend required training, drills, and meetings to maintain certifications and improve safety skills.

Machine Operation Skills Required

• Pool filtration and circulation systems (basic operation and monitoring)
• Chemical dosing and chlorination systems

Job Specifications:

• At least High School Graduate
• With 1 - 3 years of experience as a lifeguard
• With Basic Life Support and Water Safety Certificate
