Lifeguard

Position Type: Part-Time

Pay: $16.51 per hour, or $19.86 per hour (Daytime shift)

Schedule: Daytime, Evening, & Weekend Shifts Available

Job Summary

We are seeking vigilant, reliable, and safety-conscious people! Lifeguards are responsible for preventing accidents, responding to emergencies, and enforcing pool rules and safety regulations. This role requires strong swimming skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will be professional, attentive, and committed to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Become a lifeguard and gain valuable leadership skills - we train in house!
• Part time position up to 32 hours per week.
• Competitive pay and development of great leadership skills.
• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Required. Visit thelifeguard training page for more information on the upcoming training course.
• Monitors and ensures safety of all patrons in the facility.
• Demonstrates good decision making and communication skills
• Assists with facility chores including cleaning aquatics equipment, decks and checking pool chemistry

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of American Red Cross Lifeguarding.
• Understanding of youth and teen recreation programming
• Ability to interpret and apply facility rules and policies
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old by hire date
• Must pass a criminal background check
