Job Summary

Join our dynamic aquatic team as a Lifeguard, where your vigilance and dedication will ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for all guests. In this energetic role, you'll monitor pool areas, enforce safety rules, and respond swiftly to emergencies. Your proactive approach will help create a fun and secure atmosphere that encourages guests to relax and enjoy their time at our facility. Whether supervising swimming activities or providing water safety instruction, your presence will be vital in maintaining the highest standards of public safety and guest satisfaction.

Duties

• Vigilantly monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and ensure water safety for all guests
• Enforce facility rules and regulations to promote a safe environment for swimmers of all ages
• Respond promptly and effectively to water emergencies, including water rescues and medical incidents
• Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and checking chemical levels to maintain optimal water quality
• Provide first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and basic life support when needed
• Assist with guest services by answering questions, providing water safety instruction, and ensuring a positive guest experience
• Conduct regular inspections of safety equipment, pool cleanliness, and facility conditions to uphold health standards

Qualifications

• Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in lifeguard training, CPR, AED operation, and first aid protocols. We will train the right person for this job if other qualifications are not met.
• Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues efficiently in various situations
• Knowledge of water safety procedures, public safety protocols, and aquatic facility operations
• Experience working with children and providing water safety instruction is preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting during pool maintenance or equipment handling tasks
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Capable of responding calmly and effectively during medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest or other injuries

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
