Lifeguard (Freelancer)

We are seeking certified, vigilant Freelance Lifeguards to provide temporary, event-based, or weekend pool and water safety coverage. As a freelance lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring private swimming pools, residential events, corporate gatherings, and seasonal venue operations, ensuring complete guest safety, swimmer supervision, and rapid emergency response.

Key Responsibilities

• Water Safety & Vigilance: Maintain continuous scanning and active surveillance of assigned pool or water areas during event hours.
• Emergency Intervention: Perform immediate water rescues, administer CPR, and apply First Aid when needed.
• Event & Access Safety: Enforce venue pool rules, prevent horseplay or unsafe behavior, and manage pool capacity limits during busy events.
• Pre-Duty Safety Check: Conduct quick pre-shift inspections of pool areas, rescue equipment (tubes, first-aid kits), and emergency access points.
• Professional Conduct: Represent the organization professionally while maintaining a friendly, helpful demeanor with event hosts and guests.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid, internationally recognized Lifeguard Certification (e.g., Highfield, DCAS, RLSS, or equivalent accredited body).
• Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Valid UAE Freelance Visa or employment visa with a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current sponsor.
• Proven experience working as a certified lifeguard in hotel, resort, private event, or community pool environments.
• Strong swimming capability, rapid rescue skills, and excellent physical condition.
• Professional English communication skills.
