Liferay Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Liferay Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and customizing applications using the Liferay DXP platform, along with strong knowledge of portal development and database technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications on the Liferay DXP portal platform
• Customize Liferay out-of-the-box (OOB) functionalities using Hooks, Extensions, and Themes
• Develop and manage Liferay themes, layouts, and portlets
• Work with backend technologies and integrate APIs as required
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and implementation
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing applications
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Liferay DXP / Liferay Portal
• Experience in developing Liferay Themes, Hooks, and Extensions
• Good knowledge of Java, JSP, Servlets
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
• Understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Liferay upgrades and deployments
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
