  • Supporting standby cover requirements and critical customer sites where service responsiveness is essential
  • Identifying recurring technical faults and implementing corrective actions to reduce downtime and callbacks
  • Reinstating equipment safely following maintenance and repair activities
  • Accurately completing service reports, maintenance records, risk assessments and associated documentation
  • Building effective working relationships with customers, site representatives, inspectors and colleagues
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company health, safety, quality and environmental procedures

  • Experience working on a broad range of lift products, including traction and machine room-less (MRL) systems, controllers, operating panels and associated door equipment
  • Experience maintaining and fault-finding on escalator systems and associated equipment
  • Strong diagnostic capability, with the ability to identify faults, carry out effective repairs and determine when specialist support is required
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical documentation, drawings and schematic diagrams
  • Solid understanding of industry safety standards, risk assessments, safe systems of work and compliance requirements
  • Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance, breakdown attendance and repair activities
