Lift Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine lift maintenance and servicing according to the maintenance schedule.
• Perform troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and breakdown repairs.
• Attend emergency breakdown calls and standby duties as required.
• Inspect lift components and identify potential technical problems.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair works comply with safety procedures and company requirements.
• Complete service reports, repair records, and maintenance checklists accurately.
• Report technical issues and equipment defects to the supervisor.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work closely with the technical team.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

• Requirements
• Minimum qualification: SPM or Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in lift maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, or repair work will be an advantage.
• Candidates with a Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in Lift Technology or a related technical field will have an added advantage.
• Candidates without lift experience are welcome to apply, provided they are willing to learn and undergo training.
• Must possess a valid motorcycle riding licence.
• Must have own motorcycle for travelling to assigned work locations and service sites.
• Willing to perform standby duties and attend emergency lift breakdown calls when required.
• A fast learner with a positive attitude and willingness to acquire new technical skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at different site locations.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Candidates with a Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in Lift Technology or a related technical field will have an added advantage.
• Candidates with relevant lift maintenance experience and technical qualifications are preferred.
• Applicants without SKM or lift experience are also encouraged to apply, provided they are willing to learn, have a positive attitude, and can learn quickly.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
