The role:

• Lifting Engineer or Inspector
• 40 hours per week
• Permanent
• Competitive salary
• Rotherham depot

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough examinations of lifting equipment, such as cranes, hoists, slings, chains, and other accessories, in compliance with LOLER and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations).
• Perform regular and on-demand inspections to identify potential defects or safety issues.
• Prepare detailed and accurate inspection reports, including assessments of equipment safety and compliance.
• Travel to client sites to carry out inspections, which may involve working in challenging environments or at height.

About you:

• LEEA Certification or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, and associated regulations is desirable
• Experience inspecting lifting equipment in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas is desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
