CIB MARS is seeking a qualified Lifting Inspection Engineer / Inspector to join our Inspection Operations team. The selected candidate will perform third-party inspections, testing, and technical assessments of lifting equipment and accessories while ensuring compliance with international standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilites

• Conduct inspections of lifting equipment and lifting accessories (cranes, hoists, forklifts, MEWPs, slings, shackles, lifting beams, etc.).
• Perform visual inspections, functional testing, and load testing where applicable.
• Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and safety-critical findings.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and technical documentation in accordance with applicable standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 inspection requirements and safety regulations.
• Maintain proper use and control of inspection instruments and calibrated equipment.
• Deliver technical guidance and operational training to operators and site personnel where required.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and internal technical teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering
• 2 6 years experience in lifting equipment inspection, QA/QC, maintenance, or related industrial inspection roles
• Knowledge of lifting standards and safety regulations
• Experience in third-party inspection or ISO 17020 environment is an advantage
• Certifications such as LEEA, ASNT, CSWIP, IPAF, or OEM training will be considered beneficial
