Lifting Manager

• Manage and supervise all lifting and material-handling activities related to electrical construction.

• Develop and implement lifting strategies in accordance with the construction schedule and project requirements.

• Coordinate lifting activities for heavy and critical electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, generators, RMUs, MCCs, electrical panels, busducts, cable drums, and other equipment.

• Ensure lifting operations are properly planned, coordinated, and executed by competent personnel.

• Review and approve lifting plans, method statements, risk assessments, and lifting studies.

• Ensure appropriate cranes, lifting equipment, accessories, and manpower are selected based on load characteristics and site conditions.

• Coordinate with the Engineering and Construction teams for complex and critical lifts.

• Plan and coordinate the mobilization and utilization of mobile cranes, crawler cranes, tower cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, hoists, winches, and other lifting equipment.

• Coordinate with Electrical Construction teams to ensure equipment is ready for lifting and installation.

• Develop lifting arrangements for equipment installed in substations, electrical rooms, plant rooms, utility areas, and other restricted locations.

• Ensure all lifting operations comply with project HSE requirements, approved procedures, and applicable local regulations.

• Conduct risk lifting assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.

• Review subcontractor lifting plans, equipment certifications, and competency records.

• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma with 15-18 years of experience in lifting operations in Me
• Experience with major projects such as stadiums, high-rise buildings, hotels, villas & airports.
