LIFTING SUPERVISOR

• Create and implement safe lifting plans and processes to comply with industry norms and laws.
• Monitoring and supervising all lifting activities, including the operation of cranes and other lifting equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments and apply suitable control measures to reduce safety threats.
• Provide training and instruction to crane operators and other site personnel to improve their grasp of safe lifting methods.
• Keep detailed records on all lifting activities, including equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Collaborate with project managers and other site supervisors to coordinate lifting efforts and ensure that construction work proceeds smoothly.
• Identify and address any difficulties or concerns connected to lifting operations, and take remedial steps as needed.

Requirement:

• Minimum of 4-5 years' experience as a Lifting Supervisor or in a related role within the construction industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of lifting equipment, load calculations, and safe lifting techniques
• Excellent understanding of applicable health and safety legislation, including OSHA and DOSH requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities, including the ability to effectively manage a team of crane operators and other site personnel.
• Proficient in using site management software and tools.
• Able to work under pressure and make prompt judgments to ensure the safety and efficiency of lifting operations.
