Lifting Supervisor

• Supervise and control all lifting and rigging activities at the project site
• Ensure lifting operations are carried out safely and in accordance with approved lifting plans and procedures
• Coordinate with lifting teams, crane operators, riggers, signalmen, and site engineers
• Ensure cranes, lifting equipment, accessories, and tools are inspected and certified before use
• Verify the safe working load (SWL) and suitability of lifting equipment for each operation
• Ensure proper rigging, slinging, signaling, and communication during lifting activities
• Monitor lifting operations and ensure compliance with approved method statements and risk assessments
• Conduct toolbox talks and lifting-related safety briefings before critical lifting activities
• Ensure exclusion zones and safe working areas are established and maintained during lifting operations
• Stop any unsafe lifting activity and immediately report unsafe conditions to the HSE team and management
• Coordinate with the HSE department to ensure compliance with site safety requirements and applicable UAE regulations
• Maintain proper records of lifting equipment inspections, certificates, lifting plans, and related documentation
• Ensure lifting accessories are properly stored, maintained, and removed from service when defective
• Support the preparation and implementation of lifting plans for critical and heavy lifting operations
• Coordinate with project and construction teams to ensure lifting activities are properly planned and executed

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2–4 years of UAE experience as a Lifting Supervisor
• Strong experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, or heavy lifting projects
• Valid Lifting Supervisor / Banksman / Rigger certification as applicable
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging practices, cranes, and lifting accessories
• Good understanding of lifting plans, risk assessments, method statements, and safe lifting procedures
• Knowledge of UAE safety requirements and relevant lifting regulations/standards
• Ability to read and understand lifting plans and technical drawings
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to identify lifting hazards and take immediate corrective action
• Immediate availability is mandatory
