LIGHT DRIVER / BUYER (DRIVER CUM PURCHASER)

WE ARE HIRING – LIGHT DRIVER / BUYER (DRIVER CUM PURCHASER)

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Light Driver / Buyer (Driver cum Purchaser) to join our team in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving and Transportation

• Safely operate company light vehicle (cars, SUVs, Pickup trucks, or small vans) across Qatar.
• Pick up and drop off office staff, documents, official letters, or packages.
• Collect cheques, handle bank related errands, and process paperwork with government or private entities.
• Adhere strictly to Qatar traffic laws, speed limits, and GPS/navigation apps.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspection (Oil, tires, lights, and fluids level) and keep the vehicle clean and serviced.

Buying and Procurements

• Procure small scale inventory, office supplies, hardware, spare, or raw materials as requested by the department.
• Visit local market suppliers, wholesale shops, and hardware stores in doha or industrial zones to purchase required items.
• Obtain competitive price quates, compare vendor rates, and negotiate basic discounts or payments terms when authorized.

Requirements:

• Valid Qatar light vehicle driving license.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of verifiable driving and/or local purchasing experience in Qatar.
• Strong familiarity with doha roads, industrial areas, major highways, and traffic regulation.
• Basic to good proficiency in English (Arabic is a strong advantage for vendor negotiation and paperwork.
• General trading, contracting, Retail, Facilities management, or Warehousing.
• Honesty in handling petty cash/receipts, punctuality, physical fitness for loading/unloading light items, and a clean driving record.
• Must possess a valid Qatar ID with a transferrable status or NOC if applicable.
