Light Duty Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas of the facility
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas to high standards
• Use commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and cleaning solutions safely and effectively
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored, notifying management when supplies need replenishing
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or damage
• Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall building upkeep
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for resolution

Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures is advantageous
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly

Pay: $15.87-$28.41 per hour
