Light Industrial Worker

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level General Worker to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, comfortable using computers, and enjoys hands-on work. The successful candidate will support shipping, receiving, quality control, assembly, inventory management, and material handling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

No extensive experience is required. We are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates reliability, initiative, and a strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly, packaging, and general production activities.
• Perform quality inspections on parts and finished products.
• Prepare, package, label, and stage orders for shipment.
• Receive, unload, and organize incoming materials and inventory.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility.
• Use computer systems to enter shipping information, track inventory, print labels, and maintain production records.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, inventory transactions, and shipments.
• Verify products meet company quality standards and specifications.
• Operate hand tools and basic shop equipment safely.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with an interest in manufacturing, equipment, or assembly work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry, email, and use of inventory or shipping software.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred; training may be provided.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, quality control, or assembly is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
