Light Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Light Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of light vehicles and equipment. Your expertise will ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently, providing exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake services, tire services, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues related to engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and electrical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair machinery to complete repairs efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and service history for each vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and mechanical systems repair.
• Skilled in repairing suspensions, brake systems, shocks & struts, and tire services.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic tools effectively.
• Mechanical knowledge of GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail and safety standards.
• Customer service orientation with clear communication skills to explain technical issues to clients.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
