Job Description

Schaffer's Towing is looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-service-oriented Light Service Operator to join our team!

We are an established towing and roadside assistance company committed to providing prompt, professional, and reliable service to our customers.

As a Light Service Operator, you will assist stranded motorists with common roadside emergencies, including jump starts, vehicle lockouts, and tire changes.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values safety, and enjoys helping people.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle jump starts and basic battery assistance.
• Assist customers with vehicle lockouts.
• Perform roadside tire changes safely and efficiently.
• Respond promptly to dispatched roadside assistance calls.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional customer service.
• Maintain assigned company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
• Follow company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Accurately document and complete service calls.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Basic automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with roadside assistance.
• Previous roadside assistance or automotive experience preferred but not required.

Training will be provided for the right candidate!
