Light Vehicle Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parcels, documents, e-commerce orders, and other shipments safely and on time.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and daily schedules.
• Use navigation and delivery applications efficiently.
• Contact customers when required to coordinate deliveries.
• Verify delivery details before handing over shipments.
• Obtain proof of delivery through the company's delivery system.
• Handle cash-on-delivery (COD) collections accurately when required.
• Maintain proper records of delivered, returned, cancelled, and failed deliveries.
• Handle all packages carefully and professionally.
• Immediately report damaged, missing, delayed, or undeliverable shipments.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, supervisors, customer service, and warehouse teams.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean and good operating condition.
• Conduct basic daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow UAE traffic laws and Velora's safety and operational procedures.
• Represent Velora professionally when dealing with customers and business partners.

Requirements

• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and locations.
• Previous courier, delivery, logistics, or e-commerce experience is preferred.
• Ability to use Google Maps and smartphone delivery applications.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Physically able to handle parcels and delivery activities.
• Responsible, punctual, honest, and well organized.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet daily delivery targets.
• Clean driving record is preferred.

Pay: AED1,800.00 per month
