Light Vehicle Driver

Job Summary

The Light Vehicle Driver is responsible for safely transporting employees, clients, documents, materials, and other items to designated locations. The driver must follow traffic regulations, maintain the vehicle in good working condition, and ensure timely and safe transportation in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly in compliance with UAE traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport employees, clients, documents, and materials as instructed.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the assigned vehicle.
• Monitor fuel levels, mileage, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Report accidents, traffic violations, mechanical issues, and vehicle damage to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure vehicle registration, insurance, and other required documents are valid and available.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Assist with loading and unloading items when required.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Perform other duties related to transportation as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid UAE light vehicle driving licence.
• Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Ability to use GPS and navigation applications.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Responsible, punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good physical fitness and ability to assist with handling items when necessary.
• Clean driving record preferred.
