JOB DESCRIPTION – DRIVER

1. Position Details

2. Job Summary

The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation for company employees, management, visitors, documents, equipment, and other authorized items. The role involves maintaining the assigned vehicle, planning routes, supporting daily operational activities, and ensuring compliance with UAE traffic regulations and company procedures.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Transport company employees, management, visitors, and authorized guests safely and punctually to assigned destinations.
• Collect, deliver, and transfer company documents, materials, equipment, and other items as instructed by management.
• Plan routes efficiently and use GPS and navigation applications to avoid unnecessary delays.
• Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks, including tyres, lights, brakes, engine oil, coolant, fuel, and other essential components.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic fines, maintenance requirements, and other incidents to the reporting manager promptly.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, inspections, registration renewals, and other vehicle-related requirements as directed.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and deliveries where required.
• Follow UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, parking rules, and company policies at all times.
• Ensure the safe handling and transportation of company property, documents, and equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading items when required, following safe handling practices.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding company information, documents, employees, and business activities.
• Perform other reasonable driving, transportation, and logistics duties assigned by management.

4. Requirements and Qualifications

• A valid UAE manual driving licence is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of Dubai roads and major locations across the UAE.
• Proven safe driving habits and a responsible attitude towards road safety.
• Ability to use GPS and navigation applications effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Punctual, reliable, disciplined, and professional in conduct.
• Ability to handle company documents, equipment, and other property responsibly.
• Previous experience as a company or professional driver is preferred.
• Willingness to support operational requirements and travel to different locations as required.

6. Working Conditions

• The position is based in Dubai, UAE, with travel to other locations as required by company operations.
• Working hours, weekly rest days, overtime, and other employment conditions will be determined by the employment contract, operational requirements, and applicable UAE labour laws.
• The employee must follow all company instructions regarding vehicle use, transportation, safety, and reporting procedures.

7. Performance Expectations

The employee will be expected to:

• Drive safely and comply with UAE traffic regulations.
• Arrive punctually and complete assigned trips on time.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and properly maintained.
• Report vehicle issues and incidents without delay.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel, mileage, and deliveries where required.
• Handle company property and confidential information responsibly.
• Demonstrate professional behaviour when interacting with employees, customers, suppliers, and visitors.
• Support the smooth and efficient operation of the company.

8. General Responsibilities

The Driver must comply with company policies, management instructions, vehicle-use procedures, and applicable UAE laws. The employee may be assigned additional reasonable duties related to transportation, logistics, and general operations according to business requirements.

Pay: AED2,000.00 per month
