Light Vehicle Driver cum assistant

Our company is urgently looking for a reliable, responsible, and hardworking Driver cum Assistant to support our daily transportation, service, and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with UAE traffic regulations.
• Transport technicians, staff, spare parts, tools, batteries, and equipment to customer sites, workshops, and suppliers.
• Collect and deliver golf cart spare parts, materials, and documents as instructed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and monitor fuel levels, tyres, oil, and other basic vehicle requirements.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, trip records, mileage, and fuel receipts.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic fines, and maintenance requirements promptly.

Operational Assistance

• Assist technicians with loading, unloading, and arranging tools, spare parts, and equipment.
• Assist with collecting and delivering purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and other documents.
• Help maintain workshop cleanliness and organize tools, materials, and spare parts.
• Follow instructions from management and the Service Coordinator and provide timely updates on assigned tasks.

Safety & Responsibility

• Follow UAE traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Ensure company vehicles and materials are used only for authorized purposes.
• Maintain proper fuel records and submit all fuel receipts.
• Take responsibility for traffic violations attributable to the driver's actions, subject to company procedures and applicable UAE law.
• Handle company property, customer equipment, and documents carefully.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid UAE driving licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and navigation applications.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Physically fit to perform routine loading and unloading safely.
• Experience in logistics, automotive workshops, golf carts, or technical service companies is an advantage.
• Honest, punctual, disciplined, and willing to assist with general operational duties.

Salary: Aed 2500 + Overtime + Workman Compensation Insurance
