Lighting Controls Engineer

Work Schedule: US Working Hours / Night Shift
Work Location: Cyberscape Alpha, Ortigas Center, Pasig City (Onsite)

What is your mission?

We are looking for a Lighting Controls Engineer to develop and deliver high-quality lighting control system designs, schematic layouts, construction documents, submittals, and System Bill of Materials (BOM) for commercial and industrial projects. The role involves analyzing lighting and electrical floor plans, interpreting project specifications, recommending effective control solutions, and supporting contractors and engineering teams. This position plays a key role in designing lighting control systems, producing technical documentation, and ensuring accurate project execution.

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

• Create lighting control system designs, schematic drawings, and construction documents for commercial and industrial projects.
• Prepare and maintain accurate System Bill of Materials (BOM), technical submittals, and project layouts.
• Analyze and interpret lighting plans, electrical floor plans, and project specifications to develop effective solutions.
• Design and document lighting control system configurations, including component interactions and system functionality.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and engineering teams to provide technical design support.
• Develop recommended solutions for customer project requirements and technical challenges.
• Provide technical guidance regarding lighting controls, system capabilities, and product applications.
• Produce high-quality project documentation while ensuring compliance with project specifications and design standards.
• Support project execution through accurate design development, layout preparation, and documentation management.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Lighting Controls, Fire Alarm Systems, HVAC Systems, or related electrical systems.
• Knowledge of Lighting Control Systems, including dimming, switching, bi-level controls, and component interaction.
• Understanding of electrical components such as relays, drivers, and ballasts.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage and line-voltage electrical systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit for technical drafting and design documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Understanding of Electric Vehicle Charging Systems and Battery Energy Storage Concepts is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple project requirements and deadlines.
