Lighting Design and Release Engineer

Job Summary:

Seeking a Lighting Design & Release Engineer to support the design, development, and release of automotive lighting components and systems. The role will work closely with design, electrical, manufacturing, and supplier teams to ensure designs meet requirements and are released accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support design and development of automotive lighting components and systems.
• Create, review, and update 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Manage engineering changes and support design releases.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve design, fitment, and manufacturing issues.
• Support supplier communication, prototype builds, and validation activities.
• Ensure designs meet applicable engineering, quality, and manufacturing requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related Engineering.
• 0-2 years of automotive engineering/design experience.
• Experience with CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, or Creo .
• Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and product development processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
