Lighting Designer

Our client is an award winning lighting design boutique studio. The successful candidate will lead lighting design projects from concept development through to completion, working closely with architects, interior designers, consultants, clients and contractors to deliver innovative, functional and aesthetically compelling lighting solutions.

Salary: up to $5,500
Work Days: 5 Days (9am to 6pm)
Work Location: Central/City Area

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lighting design solutions in line with project requirements.
• Prepare lighting drawings, layouts, schedules, specifications and related documentation.
• Assist in the selection of suitable lighting products and technical solutions.
• Coordinate with relevant project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor design deliverables, project timelines and documentation requirements.
• Provide support during meetings, site visits, testing and project completion activities.
• Guide and support junior team members where required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field
• Min. 5 years of lighting design experience for Senior Designer; 1 year for junior post
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop
• Knowledge of SketchUp and Revit will be an advantage
• Good design, coordination and communication skills
• Able to handle multiple projects independently and work well within a team
• Singaporean only need apply
