Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Lighting Engineer to join our AV Integration team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in professional lighting programming, commissioning, operation, and troubleshooting, with strong practical knowledge of grandMA3 and ChamSys lighting control systems.

The role will involve working on AV and entertainment projects, supporting lighting system design, programming, integration, commissioning, and site implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, configure, commission, and operate professional lighting control systems for AV and entertainment projects.
• Develop and modify lighting cues, sequences, presets, palettes, effects, and show files based on project requirements.
• Provide hands-on programming and operation support using grandMA3 and ChamSys consoles/software.
• Integrate lighting control systems with other AV systems and show-control platforms.
• Configure and troubleshoot DMX, Art-Net, sACN, and other lighting control networks.
• Conduct lighting system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization at project sites.
• Read and interpret lighting layouts, system drawings, signal flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, AV engineers, technicians, consultants, and clients during installation and commissioning.
• Support site teams with lighting fixture addressing, patching, focusing, testing, and system configuration.
• Assist in preparing lighting equipment lists, technical documentation, commissioning reports, and as-built information.
• Troubleshoot lighting fixtures, controllers, networking, DMX distribution, and communication issues.
• Participate in site surveys and assist with technical assessments and project requirements.
• Provide technical support during project handover, testing, demonstrations, and client training.
• Ensure installations are completed according to approved designs, project specifications, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Lighting Technology, AV Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in professional lighting, AV integration, entertainment, events, or fixed installations.
• Strong hands-on experience with grandMA3 lighting programming and operation.
• Strong hands-on experience with ChamSys lighting programming and operation.
• Good understanding of DMX, Art-Net, sACN, IP-based lighting networks, and lighting control protocols.
• Experience with professional lighting fixtures, dimmers, media servers, lighting controllers, and network infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot lighting control and communication issues independently.
• Ability to read and understand lighting layouts, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations as required.
• UAE experience in AV integration or entertainment projects is an advantage.

Knowledge of lighting system design, fixture selection, lighting calculations, control system integration, and commissioning will also be an advantage.

Pay: Up to AED5,500.00 per month
