Lighting Quotations

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Handle daily quote requests from distributors, specifiers, architects, engineers, etc.
• Build accurate bill of materials by reviewing lighting plans, schedules, and specification sheets.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to provide accurate pricing.
• Coordinate with distributors, contractors, engineers, etc. to ensure accurate specification.
• Maintain Oasis database of quotes and update status accordingly.
• Gather information regarding product lead times and suggest suitable alternates when necessary.
• Provide customer service after order processing such as estimated shipping dates, tracking, warranty paperwork, shipment claims, etc.
• Takeoff lighting plans for quantities when required.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience quoting lighting & controls
• Experience creating submittal packages.
• Experience in Oasis quoting software.
• Basic knowledge of LED lighting and controls.
• Ability to identify equivalent products between multiple manufacturers.
• Basic understanding lighting schedules,blueprints/mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Self-starter and multi-tasker who can work alone as well as within a team.
• Strong computer skills; MS Office, Email, Zoom, TeamViewer, etc.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Excellent knowledge of lighting control and applications.
• Experience preparing quotations in OASIC
