  • Measure ambient light levels using foot-candle meters to verify conditions against industry and facility standards.
  • Capture visual evidence by taking site photographs of fixtures, mounting conditions, and electrical service panels.
  • Design replacement lighting systems and controls using TLG and CRS product lines based on audit findings.
  • Prepare energy analyses and savings calculations comparing existing versus proposed systems.
  • Produce professional audit reports, lighting layouts, and retrofit proposals for use by Distributors and Contractors.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Distributors, Contractors, and internal TLG/CRS team members.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in lighting, electrical, energy auditing, or a related field preferred.

  • Working knowledge of commercial and industrial lighting systems, including fixture types, lamp technologies, and controls.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, floor plans, and facility layouts.

  • Familiarity with lighting design or energy analysis software a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical field data into clear, professional reports.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple audit projects simultaneously.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required; ability to travel to facilities throughout the service area.

Physical Requirements

This role involves on-site visits to commercial and industrial facilities, including warehouses, manufacturing floors, parking structures, and outdoor environments.
