Lighting Technician

Pay: Full-time $25/hour

Job Summary

Join our fast-growing team as a Lighting Technician installing year-round permanent holiday lighting across West Michigan. This is a part-time role to start while training for 1-2 weeks, which will grow into a full-time role. This energetic role requires a hands-on, fast-paced, detail-oriented professional who thrives in outdoor environments, climbing ladders and working on rooftops.

Duties

• Work alongside Lead Install Technician to perform permanent lighting installations on residential and commercial properties
• Mount track and lights to home/building roofline via ladders and boom lifts
• Precisely cut track to fit each home/buildings unique design
• Discreetly feed cable to connect lights through attics, under siding and along soffits
• Complete accurate job documentation (photos, checklists, time tracking)
• Maintain a clean and organized job site

Qualifications

• Comfortable climbing tall ladders and working on rooftops
• Strong attention to detail, since clean precise installs are what keep our customers happy
• Ability to move quickly, and manage time effectively while following safety procedures
• Strong work ethic, reliable, able to show up when scheduled, and work independently once trained
• Experience in a hands-on trade (construction, roofing, solar installer, painter, carpentry, etc.) is required.
• Valid drivers license and ability to pass a background check
• Ability to start immediately
• Ability to provide multiple references, if requested
