LIMS Administrator

Hiring: LIMS Administrator | Oklahoma City, OK | Long-Term Contract

We are looking for an experienced LIMS Administrator to support and enhance Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) in a public health laboratory environment.

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Contract: 12 months, with the possibility of extension

Pay Rate: Negotiable

Work Arrangement: On-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and validate LIMS applications.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, laboratory workflows, and system integrations.
• Support HL7 messaging, XML, ASTM standards, and laboratory equipment connectivity.
• Coordinate with vendors and IT teams to improve system performance.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide user training.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards, data security, and HIPAA requirements.

Required Skills:

SQL, Visual Basic/VB.NET, LIMS administration, HL7, XML, ASTM E1381/E1394, HTML, JScript.NET, LIMS Basic, Tomcat, FireDaemon, ZPL/PCL, and script parsers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a scientific field.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical laboratory processes and regulatory requirements.
• Must be available to work on-site in Oklahoma City.
