Job Title: LIMS Administrator

Client: State of Oklahoma

Location: Oklahoma City, OK (100% Onsite)

Interview: One round, in person

Job Description:

• Administer, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot LIMS applications.
• Analyze laboratory workflows and improve system performance.
• Support LIMS implementation, testing, validation, and backups.
• Implement and maintain HL7 ORU, HL7 ELR, and CSV result messaging.
• Develop and maintain web-based accessioning forms and laboratory workflows.
• Write SQL queries and develop Crystal Reports.
• Maintain laboratory equipment connectivity, IP configuration, and file transfers.
• Coordinate with vendors, IT teams, and laboratory personnel.
• Prepare technical documentation and deliver user training.
• Support grant documentation, implementation plans, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable laboratory regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; a scientific field is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience with medical laboratory processes and procedures.
• Familiarity with federal regulations governing medical laboratories.
• Experience with LIMS administration, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• Ability to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK, five days a week.

Technical Skills:

• LIMS administration (LabWare, REES, Neometrix, or similar).
• SQL, database queries, and Crystal Reports.
• HL7 ORU, HL7 ELR, and CSV messaging.
• LIMS upgrades, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and HIPAA requirements.
